ABOUT
My name is Savannah Fox and I am a recent graduate of University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication where I majored in public relations. I am now excited to pursue a position in marketing and/or public relations.
I worked very hard academically in my college career which resulted in Dean’s List accolades, as well as invited membership in both the Kappa Tau Alpha National Honor Society, and the National Honor Society. Additionally, The University of Oregon's journalism school is considered one of the most prestigious in the country and I believe I acquired valuable and diverse skills during my years in the program and through working directly with clients associated with our curriculum.
In my most recent position as an account executive for the University of Oregon's student-run public relations firm, my team and I worked closely with our client, the founder of a senior living company, in order to rebrand his company for a more modern appeal, and create meaningful online campaigns to best reach his target audience.
Before graduating I completed my capstone course in the PR sequence, which entailed working extensively with a local Eugene client. In this position my team and I completely rebranded the organization in order to reach a broader audience and created, as well as implemented a highly regarded and integrated campaign. This detailed project included central design elements, as well as the creation and implementation of social media and advertising campaigns.
In another recent position I worked as the marketing assistant for Hollandia Produce, L.P., a large, unique and nationally recognized produce company. In this position I was responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from creating successful social media campaigns and running the company's platforms, to editing articles and creating customer relations emails.
My experience working in public relations and marketing positions has resulted in an understanding and deep passion for these areas of communication. I am now excited to use the skills I have acquired in my courses and previous work experiences to fulfill my ambition to work for a progressive and successful organization.
